Description
11-inch high white ironstone ewer. The body style is called "Crewel" as it has crewel embroidery like embossing. It is 11 inches tall to the lip of the spout and the widest part of the base is about 8-3/4 inches across. It has a stamped/printed Royal Coat of Arms mark that reads "Royal Ironstone China, Alfred Meakin, Ltd., England". It has a crack in the bottom and this piece dates around 1880's to 1890'sI do my absolute best to research and identify items correctly and do my best to point out and identify any issues with pieces. Please bear in mind that some of the pieces I offer are vintage and antique and will sometime have minor wear and character.
