Antique Alfred Meakin Ironstone Square Fluted Serving Dish - 1800's Ironstone

Description

This Alfred Meakin ironstone square bowl is like owning a piece of history!  It has a few cracks, lots of crazing, and some imperfections (see pictures) expected with age.  It is sturdy, and would make a gorgeous display piece.  Based on the marking,  this piece dates before 1890.  The rim is slightly uneven going around the piece, also a sign of it's age.  The base is marked Royal Ironstone China Alfred Meakin England.
This piece measures 8.75" square x 3" tall.
