    Description

    Betsy Ross Monument Association Certificate - 1900. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class.
    In 1898, a group of concerned citizens established the American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial Association to raise money to purchase the house from the Munds, restore it, and open it as a public museum in honor of Betsy Ross and the first American flag. A donation of 10 cents was made by Chas. J. Aberly on April 14, 1900 and a certificate was given by The Betsy Ross Monument Assoc of the Patriotic Orders of the USA.
    This 120 year old document has wear and tear as to be expected. Small piece of lower corner is missing. Colors are still vibrant. Bottom left corner "Burk & McFetridge Co Lith Phila." Measures 14" x 11".
