Aurora Model Motoring Thunderjet 500 HO Slot Car Race Set #1929 Vintage

This appears to be a special Spiegel Department store set. Set #1929 is printed on the original included brown shipping box. Overall, the track and included parts are in very nice condition. The car bodies look to be in very nice overall condition as well. THIS IS AN ADULT COLLECTOR'S SET AND IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN OR FIRST TIME SLOT CAR RACERS. The Chaparral car is missing the rear wing. There is no track diagram included. The transformer works properly. The cars have been tested and and they both run. However, they will need to be cleaned and oiled and/or repaired to perform their best. The tires will need replacing if you're going to run it. 1 of the guard rails was either cut or broken. Please look at the pictures closely as they will show the condition better than I can describe. The following pieces are included in this set: 14 radius curve tracks, 7 straight 9" tracks, 4 straight 9" bump tracks, 2 straight 6" tracks, 1 straight 7" track, 1 straight terminal track, 10 bridge beams, 123 small round modular bridge post supports, 1 spiral roadway support "COBRA CLIMB", 14 guard rails (1 cut/broken), 1 power pack, 1 service manual, 1 bag of misc track connection parts, 2 Thunderjet cars, and 2 speed controllers.
